Further, the company provides construction services, consumer and building products, transportation-related products, consulting services, and equipment manufacturing products, as well as leasing and other services. Additionally, the company offers a range of investment products, including insurance-linked securities comprising catastrophe bonds, insurance swaps, traditional reinsurance contracts, industry loss warranties, and other financial instruments; and program services. It also operates as an investment fund manager. The company was formerly known as Markel Corporation and changed its name to Markel Group Inc. in May 2023.
